The past few years has seen Nicky Lar's ascension as a DJ rise dramatically.

He started out DJ'ing in 1990 under the alias 'DJ Touch' as a turntablist playing Hip-Hop & Rap. His Bi-weekly residency at The Pump House, Lutterworth, Leicestershire, saw him play what is now classed as 'Old Skool', but back then it was Acid, House, Rave, Drum & Bass and Jungle, also promoting his own Raves in various venues around the Midlands, playing six plus hour sets.

More recently his desire for music has been focused on “House” with his sets covering Balearic beats to Sexy, Funky, and Club House including Tech & Electro, pleasing the crowds with his selection of tunes, flawless mixes and technical tricks.

2009 saw him start up the House music Promotion “Hocus Pocus” which has gone from strength to strength claiming two monthly residencies and guest spots hosting various other venues.
